

USI Southwest Indiana Area Health Education Center (SWI-AHEC) was formed in September 2008 and serves ten counties in southwest Indiana. These counties are: Daviess, Dubois, Gibson, Knox, Perry, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh, Warrick. There are six AHECs in Indiana with administrative oversight in the Indianapolis AHEC Program Office.
Metropolitan Indianapolis/Central Indiana Area Health Education Center (MICI-AHEC)
The Metropolitan Indianapolis/Central Indiana Area Health Education Center, which includes the 9 counties of Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, and Shelby.
Northeast Indiana Area Health Education Center (NEI-AHEC)
The Northeast Indiana Area Health Education Center includes the 19 counties of Adams, Allen, Blackford, DeKalb, Delaware, Elkhart, Grant, Henry, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Randolph, Steuben, Wabash, Wayne, Wells, and Whitley.
Northwest Indiana Area Health Education Center (NWI-AHEC)
The Northwest Indiana Area Education Center includes the 19 counties of Benton, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Fulton, Howard, Jasper, Lake, LaPorte, Marshall, Miami, Newton, Porter, Pulaski, St. Joseph, Starke, Tippecanoe, Tipton and White.
Southeast/South Central Indiana Area Health Education Center (SE/SCI-AHEC)
The Southeast/South Central Indiana Area Health Education Center includes the 24 counties of Bartholomew, Brown, Clark, Crawford, Dearborn, Decatur, Fayette, Floyd, Franklin, Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Lawrence, Martin, Monroe, Ohio, Orange, Ripley, Rush, Scott, Switzerland, Union, and Washington.
West Central Indiana Area Health Education Center (WCI-AHEC)
The West Central Indiana Area Health Education Center includes the 11 counties of Clay, Fountain, Greene, Montgomery, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Sullivan, Vermillion, Vigo, and Warren.
USI SWI-AHEC is located in the College of Nursing & Health Professions at the University of Southern Indiana.
Program oversight includes: Dr Nadine Coudret (Principal Investigator and Interim Provost & Vice President of Academic Affairs), Dr Ann White (Acting Dean, College of Nursing & Health Professions), Jennifer L Craig (Director, USI SWI-AHEC), and Advisory Council.
