The Southwest Indiana Area Health Education Center (SWI-AHEC) encourages youth to pursue health careers; engages clinical students in experiences and training's in rural and underserved areas; and created continuing education opportunities for health care professionals with a focus on primary, preventive, and public health care.

 

Exciting Summer Opportunity!
The Southwest Indiana Area Health Education Center (SWI-AHEC) offers an opportunity this summer for high school students to learn more about health careers and college preparation.  The 2012 SWI-AHEC Health Careers Camp offers insights into health careers, as well as postsecondary education.  The camp is divided into two, three-day experiences with one for freshmen and sophomores (June 18, 19, 20) and one for juniors and seniors (July 16, 17, 18).  Students should apply using their grade level for fall 2012.  Spaces are limited, so apply early.  Applications are due no later than April 27, 2012.
