Chartering Ceremony May 14, 1998 Carter Hall, University of Southern Indiana On May 14, 1998, the USI Nursing Honor Society became an official chapter - designated Omicron Psi - of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. One-hundred twenty charter members were inducted in a ceremony held in Carter Hall at which Daniel Pesut, PhD, RN, CD, FAAN served as Installing Officer. Among those present were Dr. Mary Fisher, President of IUPUI's Alpha Chapter (Omicron Psi's mentoring chapter), students and faculty of the USI Nursing Program, family, friends, and community supporters.
