Dedicated in 1995, the Day Learning Resource Center was initially furnished and equipped through the generosity of Mrs. Lilybell M. Day in memory of her husband, Charles E. Day, 1907-1988.

The Center offers students and faculty in the USI College of Nursing and Health Professions access to audio-visual media, online resources such as the Internet, e-mail, computer-assisted and interactive video instruction, wordprocessing, and other computer applications. It also provides a quiet area for independent and group study.

The Clinical Skills Lab, an important part of the Day Learning Resource Center, is a dedicated area where nursing and other health professions students can learn and practice the various clinical skills required by their chosen profession.
