International Public Health Promotion
This course explores how public health systems work and how they are financed in various countries and cultures around the world. The purpose of this course is to compare and contrast public/private healthcare in developed and developing countries. Students will also learn the growing impact that lifestyle and health behaviors play on a country’s overall health and well-being. Additionally, students will visit healthcare settings in Western Europe. Application and deposit of $150 is due to the Office of International Programs and Services by February 28, 2013.
