I hold an associate degree in nursing from Ivy Tech. I am also a member of the American Heart Association and certified in IV therapy, TB skin testing, smoking cessation, health promotions, CPR, and Simman training.

I have been a lecturer in the College of Nursing and Health Professions, assisting with programming, and operation of Simman. I retired from Welborn Clinic in 2006 after 23 years of service.
