We moved from Cincinnati to Evansville in 1998 and I began teaching at USI in Fall 1999.  My husband (a high school sweetheart) and I have been married 21 years.   We have three kids, Taylor who always challenges me, Kristen who is very kind hearted and caring, and Mitch who is just like his father (I will say no more).   I am also an animal lover.  We own a 90 pound black lab named Jamie, two calico cats, and fish.
I spend time away from the office, running the kids to sport events etc.  I like to volunteer to help with my kids school fund raisers, Girl Scouts, and am presently secretary of our neighborhood association.  If and when there is ever any extra time, I enjoy reading mushy love stories.  I enjoy being around people and learning about their unique characteristics that makes life so interesting.
I love to travel especially overseas.  We lived in Germany for three years and I found it to be one of the best experiences in my life.  My husband does much of his business out of the country, and I hope to see more of the world with him.

I've always been a Pediatric nurse at heart.  I worked 10 years at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati in Pediatric Neurology.  Over that time I went from a floor nurse to starting a Neurology Nursing clinic as a PNP.   I also have a very strong interest in Nursing Research.  I believe one never stops learning.
