I grew up in Indianapolis, attended Purdue University, married, and moved to Evansville in 1968. Here I attended the University of Evansville and obtained associate, bachelors, and masters degrees in nursing. My husband (Bruce Goodwin), children (Tim Roberts and his wife Mia, Doug Roberts and his wife Marva), grandchildren (Aaron, Tyler, Daelyn, Lacy Rose, and one-on-the-way), and pets (puppy Abby, cats Toby, Mr. T., Annie, and Edie) are very important parts of my life. I enjoy reading, writing, movies, music, and art. Teaching and learning from my colleagues and nursing students -- from beginning freshmen to RNs -- brings me great happiness and personal satisfaction! I am also a student of healing touch (through Level 2A) and reflexology (seminars 1 and 2) and hope to become a certified reflexologist in the year 2000.
