Annual Nursing and Health Professions Educator Conference |
Online Submission Deadline May 28, 2008
Abstracts for oral presentations, symposia
or poster displays are being invited for topics on innovative teaching
strategies, projects, or research in educating health care professionals
in the academic and clinical settings.
General Submission Guidelines
All abstracts must be submitted online.
Abstracts must be in English.
Abstracts will be reviewed and selected
through a blind review process.
Applicants will notified by email in June
2008.
All paper and poster presenters must
register for the conference.
Presenters are responsible for their
own travel, lodging, meals, and conference registration fees.
All posters must be self-standing and
fit on a standard 8 ft. table
General Abstract Guidelines
Specify preferred presentation format
(paper or poster).
List the presenting author first. (Correspondence
will only be sent to the first author listed).
The abstract text must contain no more
than 300 words.
Two learner objectives or measurable
outcomes of presentation are required per abstract.
Author profiles will be required for
each abstract.
Audiovisual needs for paper presentations
must be identified.
The information is to be completed
as part of the submission process.
Oral paper presentations will be 30
minutes.

Each symposium should include 2-3 abstracts with a common theme and cohesive set of abstracts. (See specific guidelines above).
Each symposium should also include a symposium overview describing the theme and purpose of the symposium.
Symposia will be allotted 60 minutes for presentation.
A presenter profile will be required for each abstract.
List the presenting author first.
Two learner objectives or measurable outcomes of presentation are required per symposium.
