All lecture instruction will be completed online and will be accessible 24 hours a day. These lectures with corresponding examinations must be completed online prior to the scheduled laboratory date.
Part II: Laboratory Practical
The course includes twenty (20) hours of laboratory experiences where participants learn techniques in local anesthetic administration on clinical partners. Laboratory sessions will be held at the University of Southern Indiana, Health Professions Center, Room 1042; 8600 University Boulevard, Evansville, IN 47712. USI is located on Highway 62, two miles west of Evansville.
Participation in the local anesthesia program includes not only the experience of administering anesthesia but also the experiences of receiving anesthesia.
