The SouthWest Indiana Organization of Nurse Executives
The purpose of the Southwest Indiana Organization of Nurse Executives (SWIONE) is to provide a strong organization of nurse leaders in the southwest Indiana region by promoting the professional development of nursing leaders, creating a public awareness of current nursing issues, and supporting critical healthcare issues, which will affect the nursing profession in a positive manner.


Dr. Jo Manion leads over 300 nurse managers and leaders in a discussion on Creating a Positive Health Care Workplace: The Leaders' Role at the 2007 Nursing Management conference held at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville.



The panel of nurse leaders as part of the WNIN town hall forum on nursing titled Who will Care For Us? televised on May 8th. The program was funded by a IONE grant.
