
Welcome to the University of Southern Indiana College of Nursing and Health Professions Doctor of Nursing Practice program website. The College of Nursing and Health Profession's commitment to quality nursing education and responsiveness to regional and national health care needs serves as the foundation for our DNP program. This practice focused doctorate will prepare nurses in multiple roles to make contributions to health care and nursing through scholarly practice, health care leadership, and nursing education. Course content builds upon the master's degree and includes a minimum of 36 credit hours. The curriculum consists of 5 semesters (full time) or 8 semesters (part-time) of doctoral level coursework which will culminate in the completion of an evidence-based capstone project.
